Aethappazham Kanichethu?




How to make Aethappazham Kanichethu?

A Unique combination of banana and riceflour...................

This is most suitably used with traditional oratti or arippathiri or appam for those who like sweet taste.


What you need..
Banana-2(not too much ripe)
Fried Rice flour-300g
Sugar-200g
Cardamom-3
Coconut milk(thick)-300ml
Salt-

How to prepare…
Banana is cut into one inch round pieces and wash in salt water. Heat banana , one pinch salt and 500ml of water in a pan to boil.
200g of rice flour is mixed well with boiling water and 50g of sugar and make a dough. Form  one inch diameter round balls and press it on the middle.
Add these balls into boiling banana. After two minutes stirred carefully.  Add 150g of sugar. The remaining 100g of rice flour is mixed with water  and pour into the boiling mixture. Stir carefully. Add coconut milk and cardamom powder. Serve hot…. It is better to decorate with  fried cashewnuts  and kismis(use ghee).
